Douglas Bissonette • Coach

Douglas Bissonette is a coach for Teibel Education’s Leadership Development program, bringing over 35 years of leadership experience across a diverse range of educational settings. His background includes roles in higher education, corporate professional development, and international teaching, as well as serving as a public school superintendent for 19 years. He currently serves as the Assistant Superintendent for St. Vrain Valley Schools, which was named by Forbes as the best K-12 employer in Colorado for the past two years.

Douglas has completed programs in commitment-based management with Logonet (1990) and ontological coaching with Newfield Networks (1994) and has studied extensively with Fernando Flores of Pluralistic Networks. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial Economics from UC Davis and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Boston University.
