Also, when partnering with external experts, an institution may not know how to retain ownership of the outcomes. Learn about University of Washington’s internal organizational excellence program and its use of external resources as appropriate. Howard and Ruth will share insights on developing a best-in-class internal program, partnering with an external consultant to capitalize on existing successes, and helping campus stakeholders assume a level of personal responsibility for changes that will benefit the institution.

Managing Through Change Workshop Series at CSU Fresno
Change is constant, no matter what we do. It’s either foisted upon us or we’re instigators of the change. Either way, it’s up to us how we relate to it. Mastering the art of navigating change puts us in a better position to adjust to the growing needs across our organizations. In this series, Howard Teibel will teach the California State University Fresno Vice President and Office of Faculty Affairs how to personally relate to change and strategies to lead through the complexity and ambiguity of a changing work environment.
