WACUBO: Cultivating Bold Collaboration in Uncertain Times: Leading Culture Change with Humility and Resolve

Session Description

The Rock, Peter Blume's oil painting from 1948, conveys a surreal image of a shattered, but enduring, rock, with its implied message of hope—devastation or destructions on one side with reconstruction emerging on the other.

As leaders of our institutions, our voices can be front and center in the reconstruction of our institutions. If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that we have the capacity to change. At the same time, the chorus of voices looking to get back to normal is upon us.

Learning Objectives

  • Learn the skills and sensibilities that will lift yourself up as a strategic leader, with humility and resolve as your guiding principles

  • Embrace boldness that will be seen by some as reckless or an attack on tradition

  • Learn the difference between those just looking to get just through this crisis and those prepared to take advantage of this time
